On November 28, 2022, a low-carbon and environmentally friendly GIS research and development project with a mixed gas (SF6/N2) insulating medium of Tai'an Taishan High Voltage Switch Co., Ltd. successfully passed the Taishan District Key R&D Plan "Announcement and Appointment" project announcement.

Research the insulation properties of SF6/N2 mixed gas, optimize the internal electric field of the company's existing GIS, and adjust the gas chamber pressure. Through large current temperature rise tests, bus current tests, capacitive and inductive small current opening and closing tests, ground short circuit closing tests, M2 level mechanical life tests and other tests, reach the domestic advanced level, meet the carbon peak and carbon neutrality trends, and realize the safe operation of mixed gas combination electrical appliances.

In the next step, Taian Taishan High Voltage Switch Co., Ltd. will participate in research and development through industry-university-research cooperation, increase investment in research and development, and form technical achievements and intelligent industrialization with independent intellectual property rights, so as to contribute to the construction of a modern and strong district in the new era.
